Sustainable Business

Integrating sustainability into our business

As a business, our actions and choices have an impact on the health of the planet. We choose to make that impact a positive one. That’s why we run a responsible, sustainable business, supporting our employees, our partners and the communities where we work to grow together and create a healthier world for us all.

Our sustainability approach is integral to our business strategy.

By collaborating with our internal and external stakeholders and integrating environmental and social governance factors into our decision making processes, whilst also retaining and attracting talent of the highest quality, we have the long-term aim of enhancing the company value and continuing to build on our strong reputation to become leaders in the SME segment of the market.

Our 3 Pillars of Sustainability

To successfully integrate sustainability into our business’s strategy, it must address how we look after our people, our business, how we are competitive, and how we can be responsible in our actions.

Consilient Health has set a science-based target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

The latest climate science from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) – described by the United Nations (UN) as “code red for humanity” – shows the urgency for action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C.

Consilient Health recognises the importance of rapid and deep emission cuts and our own responsibility as a business. We are proud to have set a science-based target, positioning us as leaders in the low-carbon transition.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The SBTi defines and promotes best practice in science-based target setting and independently assesses companies’ targets, which are published on their website.
